Oh wow! The minute i saw this, I was blown away by the grace and power you managed to capture! And the way it's really sketchy, you can imagine his overpowering radiance...I can definately see this as the arrogant, power-grabbing angel in the story. You are one amazingly talented artist.

Thanks! It's my sketch! I have to admit I took the pose from one of the nudes on Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling because I thought it was arrogant enough to turn into Metatron. At first it was going to be Asriel but then felt that Metatron's arrogance and strength suited the figure more (plus it looked better nude - something that Asriel is not in the books!!). How can u even attempt to create something so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the elegant and powerful posture and the arrogant way he's holding himself! i knew i'd see this pose somewhere before-u confurmed it as a Michelangelo work. The skin and muscle shading r so dynamic and create a 3D feel to the whole pic which is sharply contrasted by the swirling cloud-like eddies on which he is lousing! Only a artist with amazing talent would be able to create something as special as this! u captured the different shapes and shadows and movements of the human body in one flawless piece. There is so much detail and yet so much power in his face! i can truly see him as the Metatron. His hands are so real and containsuch repressed energy, u could really see him gesturing carelessly 4 his servants to carry out a command! The wings are beautiful in that u can see every feather!
i am soooooooooooo looking forward to seeing more of your work-fanart will be blown away.

I never actually really put a face on my image of Metatron. Or any other angel for that matter. But dont get me wrong I think this picture is AH-mazing, and I love it! Very good!!
