i like your style, but... no. this doesn't seem to have asriel's character in mind at all. was it based on someone else?

Nice try! but Asriel isn't sloppy and doesn't deserve this quick of a sketch. Asriel is manly, powerful and smooth. If it were Lee Scoresby this would have been an excellent picture!!

Looks great... but it DOES look like he's in his twenties. But otherwise: great!
