I didn't want to show Lyra's face because I wanted this to be more focused on Will and how he is dealing with their separation. And how do you mean the right time? There was never a set time for when this happened, we were not told in the book, and I guessed it would be about midday seeing as thats when they decided to meet. Sorry if you cannot see the time very well as it got a bit smudged but it does say midday

chalks? very nice, soft effect they gave this emotional picture, too. Apart from the fact that both Will and Lyra look too mature, the heartbreaking emotion u have brought to small pic is touching. i love the dust and how u have shown they need each other so powerfully. A fresh and subtle change from ur usual coloured pencils :)

Woah! that is (almost) exactly how I pictured will's face. sort of awkward, but not knowing what to say and deperate.

I really like this one, it's very imotional, and you can really see the pain in Will's eyes.
