OMG THIS IS UR BEST EVA CHELSEY!!! You are such an amazing and talented drawer, and this is just FANTASTIC!!! First, of all, the style you drew it in is lovely, like part anime and part realism-i love it. It must have taken u ages, there is such a softness and depth to the colours....they light up the image and give it a real warmth, a real feel of the intamacy Lyra and Will are sharing. The cloud of glowing Dust and the dreamy, surreal background give this drawing the magical atmosphere it deserves. And the quality of the drawing is just so professional-rough, but so professional! This scene could be ruined by a dodgy drawing, but your flowing lines, lightness of touch and well placed shading make it alive with the moment. I love how you drew them NEARLY kissing, because they r both not yet joined and in each others arms, anticipating it. Another thing i think have nailed is their feelings for each other, and the tiny details of body language show this. Like the tender way they hold each other and the delicacy of Lyra's hand on Will's neck with her finger poised in the air. Whatever it is, all those seperate elements added together, this pic is special in all the emotion it captures, and how you are drawn in to their expressions, faces, their bliss. I wish i could draw like that!!! well done :)

yes, this one is the best. i think the lyra & will ones r dodgy at best, but this one is so lovely! u brought tears to my eyes. that doesnot happen, well, ever! i love it, and i'm sure every one else will too. lizzie certainly does!

wow.... this one is definite favourite of mine. i love the suttle colours used and that both Will and Lyra actually look the right age. the picture also has a sense of tenderness and beauty and you just don't want it to end.... i love it!!!!!

WOW.I've been looking on the will pics to see if i could find any the way i imaged him and had no luck but this is so close to the way i imaged will it's scary! lol. Also in some of the others it didn't have the right feel or look when they kiss but this really makes it seem perfect.

I want to thank you all so much. I am very proud of this pic as I felt if I was going to capture it I would have to make it worthy of the most magical scenes in the entire books which envolves no actual witchcraft at all, but the pure sorcery of two peoples emotions. I am glad you all feel I did it justice although I feel personally I could never capture it the way it should be. Thank you all againxxx

Hey, guess what! I found a loophole! Yay me :D! It really is too bad that Will and Lyra didn`t manage to figure it out though.
OK, so here it is:
Step One: Will and Lyra live together in Will`s world for about ten years.
Step Two: As soon as Lyra begins to grow fatally ill, they open a window, switch worlds, and close it.
Step Three:They live in Lyra`s world for ten years, and as Lyra grows healthier, Will grows unhealthier.
Step Four: Switch when Will gets too sick.
Step Five: Repeat.
This way, they`ll only create about 7 specters (Will lives a minimum of at least eighty years, according to the book, and he`s already 12), they`ll only lose a little bit of Dust, they wont die from the sickness, and they`ll never be apart.
I love being an evil genius.
Hehehe.;D

P.S. for those of you who are going to say that them creating 7 specters is still top many, they could always hunt them down and kill them with the knife (Will was going to try it in Citagazz?©, but their wasnt enough time.)
