I like Lyra, even though u can only just c her. She seems to be the most accurate thing in this picture.
Can't remember this scene in the book, and i don't like Will's superman attitude-and i don't think Lyra would just happily wait, mute, in the background for Will to rescue her either, not while Will walks forwards with arms ridiculously outstretched. Will is a bit mishappen, and wot is the creature (mayb a cliff ghast???), but still, i like how u've brought across the lushness of the vegetation (where r they?).

A tip: if u copy things from life and try and get the right shapes 4 everything, u'll find ur drawing will improve enormously :) Well done:)

Well-, Um-. When I first saw this I didn't know what it was. Then I saw the person in the center (Is it Will?). Sorry but it looks like you where trying to draw Will with his head on fire. As for the rest-, well-, I don't really know what to say about it.

I don't remember this scene from the book, but Is see where your coming from. Correct me if I'm wrong but you are fairly young arn't you? 7? 9? And I think for a young age this is very good. The texture of the tree and the bushes and everything are good and I like how you pictured the cliffghast as being different animal parts. I don't like the idea of Will "Protecting" lyra. She can handle herself definitely! But I do like Lyra a lot in this even though you can only just see her. Will's arms are a bit mishapen and out of proportion but I can tell the kind of position you were aiming for. Overall well done and forget about what the people above said. Those kind of silly oneliner comments come from people who cannot be bothered to really look at a picture and see it for what it is. And directed at FOTH, I'd like to see you do better you total nimwod. Give the kid a break. Keep it up Jilliene and remember, practise makes perfect!

I think its a good drawing and shows real good potential. Saying quit art forever is like saying quit singing, or quit trying, or quit anything that doesn't turn out perfect the first few times you try. There's lots going on in this drawing and there's creative interpretation. Very valuable.
