Does it say that in the description? If not, I guess you would have to take into account the chance that the daemon could turn into something big, and not fit.

responce to *says*: I think the daemon would break the cage but in the books it never said that they could get larger than their humans. I don't think they can, or don't want to, anyway.

(to randomperson) Pan turned into a leopard once in Ci'gazze facing the children. I'm not sure if leopards are bigger than humans though, when standing up. Probably. Maybe Pan was a small one? Actually leopards are smaller than humans when standing (in height).Or the daemons just don't want to get bigger than their humans- like u sed. I've never heard of a daemon being a horse before-dunno if they could carry them? I think that the daemons couldn't carry their humns anyway-coz the're part of them. Sorry COMPLETELY off the point! people can carry their daemons so why couldnt the daemons carry them? There'd probally be a stag daemon somewhere. or something brave. yeah it's good. Just like I imagined it! But i bet someone stubborn would get they're daemon to be a leopard to rip open the cage. Wouldnt be hard i think

if the daemons could get big enough, they could break the cage and move aside, couldn't they? Don't you think the Bolvangar people would have thought of that?

i don;t think the artist was thinking about whether or not the daemon could turn into an elephant when he drew it. let's not get fixated on small details. lovely work.

i thought the cages would ha ve bigger and wider. but that's just me. I think it's great.
