1. Watership Down
2. His Dark Materials
3. Ender Quartet

I dunno, read too many good books... WD is my all time favorite for sure, but 2 on down is always changing depending on my current feelings and what I'm reading.

  2. Harry Potter
  3. Inherit the Wind

So what if the third one's a play?

Too...difficult...to...decide...don't...make...me...choose!

Top three hmmmmmmm? That's difficult.

My number one book that I've read so far has to be HDM, closely followed by Harry Potter, but after that I really don't know! My list would probably look something like this:

1. His Dark Materials
2. Harry Potter
3. Noughts & Crosses, Georgia Nicolson, LoTR, HHGTtG, Princess Diaries, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, Witch Child, The Hobbit, Sally Lockhart, Wind on Fire, Goodnight Mister Tom, A Little Love Song - and any other books that are on my "favourite" bookshelf, tie in third place.

I'm sure there's already been one, but has there been a poll on the site as to which HDM book is best? I bet it went in the same order as Soup's list did (look back up a bit).

I love the Georgia books! :)
Here are some of my favourites, no particular order:
HDM (of course) - my favourite of the series is TAS
Tamora Pierce's Tortall books - my favourite is Emperor Mage
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase series
The Everlasting Story of Nory
Goodnight Mr Tom
Marianne Dreams
The Secret Garden
A Little Princess

I know there's a lot more that I've left out.
Okay, I thought of another: From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. basil E. Frankweiler. I want to run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art too!

Many Waters is good. I really liked the whole Wrinkle in Time series. Also, I like her books about Vicky Austin. :)
