What was your favorite part/chapter in TSK

*mine was when Will fought Tullio (where Will fought and lost his fingers)*

The last two chapters are sublime.

Yeah, I think they were my favourite part of the trilogy.

You're wondering how Pullman can wrap this up before the end of the book, but then he doesn't. ~*dugong*~!

Pullman: Well, I'm retiring, would you like to take it on ?

'tis probably my favourite book of the three. Favourite part hmm... When they're trying to escape from the kids and they run up the hillside in to the tower. I like that whole passage

favourite line is probably: "Because somewhere, something was screaming."

(or something of the sort) that line always makes me smile

Lyra's complete surprise that Dr Malone is a woman. Mary's continual references to the computer as a 'Cave' and Oliver Payne as 'The Skull Man'.

I know! That always happens me with books! They just end

My favorite part is when Mary communicates with Dust on the computer. And when she destroys it and deceives the guard before going into the tent and then through the window.

The last two chapters and the part where Lee Scoresby dies.

When Lee dies is amazing. That anybody would be prepared to give up their life like that is beyond me, though it's also an inspiration. There is so much trust between people, especially in TSK, based on little. All they have is what they see, and they all trust it.

the whole book is amaizing, but the chapter : Over the Hills and Far Away, is my favorite. The part where they first kiss always makes me so emotional each time i read it. :cute: It's almost orgasmic

Did you get as emotionally attached to The Subtle Knife?

No big deal, really.

My favorite part was probably when Lee died as well, though stealing back the alethiometer was pretty good too. :)
