Some pictures from Labor Day lunch-dinner-barbecue-thing at my sister's last weekend. They're all pretty much the same colour scheme because they were all taken in the exact same spot and I didn't move. I just played with my macro lens (can focus as close as 1cm!) while I sat at the new picnic table my brother-in-law built.

A screw (the droplets around are sap from the picnic table lumber)

My food--not sure why I like this picture this much, except maybe the details on the bun.

Yesterday I went out to take my sister's senior picture for her. Of course, she wanted it taken with her horse. So, here are some of the results. I think it went quite well.

Choice Pictures (Not sure which will get used):

Some baby goats that were around and crazily cute (especially when they were butting heads, but my sister had taken my camera then):

Some kittens who are basically having the life drained out of them by fleas :(:

There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all

A week ago, we went to Floriade, Canberra's annual flower festival! :)

These weren't flowers in the festival proper but I think they're beautiful.

Miss Ronni, dear, were you aware that you're living in a Disney castle? Please inform me as soon as you realise.

Assortment of photographs from the Berlin concert trip I went on with the symphony orchestra. We played with the Orchester Berliner Musikfreunde symphony in the Berliner Philharmonie and did lots of other fun stuff.

Was tasked with photographing my sister's latest performance, a Christmas show on horseback, in the dark. Some of the results I found quite beautiful.

When they finally stand still and the lights start to turn up, you can see what was going on (the horses and riders were covered in Christmas lights):

Exploring Kassel in the snow.

Apparantly everyone in the city goes sledding when there is a little snow (at the Schloss Wilhelmshöhe Museum):

Frozen waterfalls are nifty:

Tram stop was pretty:

(that's me in there)

Not quite sure what the purpose of this thing was:
Image

Hercules (stairs of doom, basically). The view of the city from the top is amazing though. Sadly it got too dark for my camera to take any decent pictures.
