I just came back from Canada, it seems to be a really nice country. After seeing it, I think the whole monarchy thingy might have a few advantages after all. *runs away from angry crowd of fellow Americans*

Happy Holidays! I haven't been to Canada in ages unfortunately, not since my aunt moved back to the states. :(

cheers, belated. i was celebrating. the arsenal for fireworks wasn't too pathetic but it could have improved if those in charge had any style. it does top the new years firework though.

i also went to see fireworks at ashbridges bay in toronto (the beaches). it was really nice, even though it was raining on and off. we tried to start a fire but it was too windy (some people encountered the same problem trying to light a joint) ... we did eventually get one started lighting some canadian tire money first as kindling... works better than wood or cardboard or napkins it turns out.

went back to a friend's house and chatted for a while, before rushing home around 2am to sleep before a 930 driving lesson.

In two weeks I shall be in Canada with a rucksack on my back, hopefully some clothes over my hide, and a small fortune locked away in my bank account. Any recommendations, being as my journey begins in far-off Vancouver?

I'd like to thank Ina, Jaya, Tom and Jamie, and Callum, who was there in spirit. I love you all! { tear }

What is Canada like? The closest i've been is America, is it anything like that?

Similar but different; a lot less people. Canada has an immensely tiny population for the amount of land it has.
