The new site looks great! I joined the forum, if only to bolster TRoH presence.

Did anyone else see this (I think I posted it elsewhere, but I'll post it here too):

People who are interested will probably have seen the film by now. If they’re very interested, they’ll probably have read about how the film didn’t do as well as the studio had hoped at the American box office. They might also have read that the film did very well in the rest of the world, but that despite that, the studio isn’t likely to make the sequels.

I haven’t got very much to add to that except to say that many things about the film were excellent, especially the performances. Of course I’m disappointed that we’re not likely to see Dakota Blue Richards acting the rest of Lyra’s story, and Nicole Kidman doing Mrs Coulter’s final speech, and Sam Elliott holding out against the enemy forces at the pass in the mountains – and a hundred other things; but there we are.

:x It's under "Film".

Did anyone see the 'Welcome Part 2' thread? What's the point in having a forum on his website if he's not going to be there? You might as well to come to the Pullman thread on this forum.

I just joined. It's okay, but it bans url code and cuts off your signature in posts (although it lets you have a signature in your profile). How else am I going to spread the word about BTTS (and, more importantly, my blog)?

No, it doesn't ban you from the site for posting URL codes, it just prevents you from posting those codes. You know when you type things like
Code: Select all
web address here
to create links? It doesn't let you do that.

They only have about 30 members, half of which look pretty dodgy to me, so they could stand to gain a few more.

my very minimalist btts plug was allowed for sometime, but then someone joined with a really big image link in their signature, and soon after, signatures were disallowed.

Signatures I can do without. It's the disabling of url code that irritates me. But anyway, yay! Another Philip Pullman forum!
