ME: I have always wanted to know more about Lyra's parents and I recently heard that a story about how they met could be in The Book of Dust. Is this rumour true?
PP: Well, it hasn't happened yet, but I haven't finished the book yet! You never know what might happen.
Not exactly th answer I wanted, but he has taken a 'vow of silence' about The Book Of Dust, so it's to be expected. However, his answer, (even though its cryptic) gives me hope that they will be in the book........................................................................I know..............I'm weird because I like Lyra's parents (mainly because they make me laugh in the third book, the incident with the intention craft was highly amusing)
