i think if you tried to take a peice of a dæmon off (even a single hair) it would dissolve, as it was no longer part of the dæmon. and if you tried to eat a dæmon whole, it would probably taste like fear.
*sigh* Well, at least you tried.

...like fear?

like the idea of fear. just a wild guess, of course, but I think that touching another person's dæmon is like looking into their mind and their emotions (maybe specifically those relating to that person) . hence, when Will touched Pan and Lyra touched Kirjava, they felt eachother's love, and when the people in Bolvangar touched Pan, they would have felt his fear and he and Lyra would have felt their anger.
*sigh* Well, at least you tried.

I'd really like to see maps of jordan College, cittegazze, bolvangar.

drawings of the land of the dead, the torre de angellis (sp?), the kingdom of heaven.

diagrams of the intention craft, mulefa, in fact every animal / person in the books. Also lore about the witches past, bears culture, mulefa culture/explanations.

history of the alethiometer, john parry's story, backround on all the characters, dust.

a guide to daemon physiology / existence.

And probably a whole lot of more stuff too, but thats about as comprehensive as i can be at 12.30 am.

Some of PP's original scribblings would be cool.

but they're huggable, and sit on your shoulder-able, et cetera. plus the people at bolvangar were able to grab pan and stuff him into the cage. but who knows... huggable and dissolvable...

yes, but they're not made of muscles and arteries and stuff. They wouldn't be able to change if they were. They're physical but not edible, just... like a dream. You can hug and touch things in your dream but you couldn't splice them open. I'm not good at describing what i mean but I hope that makes sense.

who says you can't slice things open in dreams.

but daemons would have to be physical enough for another person to touch, like when the scholars at bolvangar took pan, or when will touched him and lyra touched kirjava.

I think they are physical, and have some organs, because it said somewhere that Pan had a heartbeat, and Lyra used him to warm her up in the North...

yes, they are physical because i am sure they have scares when something scares you in life...

Yes something about dæmons would be awesome in BOD, i just want to know everything about them.
If there was anykind of like scientific way to see dæmons and things i would defently try to have that job! :D

Yes, i believe they are physical and they do have arteries, we cannot put logic to it as its beyond our understanding.
