interesting, the rating comparisons reflect culture. England is obviously not as uptight as us Americans. Our "R" rating requires an adult if you are under 17 (although rarely enforced), and that compares to the 15 rating in England. PG13 here,12 there. Not surprising, just interesting.

I don't really think that's true...

I think it reflects less on the present culture and more on the past culture. I think it's more tradition than anything. The same is true with the UK and US gaming systems... which are obviously also different.
