To make a somewhat obscure joke, Is Veronica Mars the True Icon of Venus? This might make sense if you know the etymology of the name "Veronica" and the story of Mars and Venus in classical mythology.

Just saw Noggin the Nog on BBC 4, Peter. I think it's to do with their Iceland season.

Just in case nobody has any idea what any of this is about - The Northlands

In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale...

Anyone else watching A Game of Thrones? I just finished watching the 4th episode.

It's a rather good adaptation with some excellent casting.

I'm really liking it, so much so I started reading the book, which was a bit of a mistake really since now one keeps ruining the other.

Thought I'd watch a little bit of Made in Chelsea, and had to turn off after about 10 minutes. It actually made me proud that I live in Essex.

I've been watching the second series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Road Show. The second episode was rather funny. The recent episode of South Park was very good too.

Tomorrow I shall finally dive into Firefly. It has been decided. Don't judge me on my lateness.

Ok 14 episodes and one film down and I judge that Firefly is very good.

Best episode: Out of Gas
Best Character: Jayne
Best Scene: Electrocution Scene
Hottest Lady: Kaylee :P

Just watched first ep of forth series of Breaking Bad. Have heard dubious things about the series so far, but IMO the first was great
