Today i revisited an old site that was once my internet refuge (here :P) but was saddened to find it was almost completely silent. In the hallowed halls of the bridge to the stars forums where intellectual debate, eloquent banter and some rather odd stuff used to be, there are now just whispers and the cobweb covered archives of long dead conversations. I have some great memories of here. I have missed it. Perhaps one day these ancient threads will rise again and thrill us once more :) I look forward to that day!

And i had co-co pops for breakfast.. yeah ;)

There are still people around but, agreed, not much activity. Still, feel free to post if you want to!

Why thank you! Yes i do see the odd post here and there which is always nice! :)

Well, today i had rehearsals for a production of Beauty and the Beast which I'm in, plus the rehearsals for a cabaret which I'm helping to direct and performing in, quite understandably i feel, i am extremely tired *yawn*

Hoping all you lovely sraffies are doing well :)

Today I got to tell a telemarketer to call back "Never" and I wasn't even being a dick. They were asking when they could catch my sister and I was being completely honest 'cause she's living in Europe.

I also attempted to do my readings and realized that not wanting to study is the perfect inspiration for writing smutty fanfiction that I will never post online.

Post it! Even though I've been reading smutty fanfiction for years and years I have yet to actually write one.

Today I felt really nostalgic for the good old days when we were all here, or in irc, a good chunk of the day.

I remembered the wonderful feeling of making friends through a chat window.

And of none of us knowing anything about each other and wondering whether it was really ok to share real names or where we were from.

It's hard for me to think back to when I could express my casual thoughts as journal entries and forum posts, not tweets and statuses and irc lines.

I just miss the good old days. Do you?

(I also went through my old photobucket account and good lord was some of that stuff embarrassing. Yay!)

We need to entice more people back to chat. It's getting very quiet there lately now that we're all adults with responsibilities and stuff.

Ugh, adulthood.

I both concur and agree.

Well, really. Must I start everything around here?

Brooms and pails are by the door; a list of chores can be found behind the bar. Give a shout to let us know you're here.

Today I opened a few windows and let in some fresh air.

Today I prodded a metaphorical horse to see whether it showed any signs of life. I plan on continuing to do so for a while regardless of the outcome.

I wonder if this will breathe new life our way...

Only time will tell.
Hush, the babies are sleeping, the farmers, the fishers, the tradesmen and pensioners, cobbler, schoolteacher, postman and publican, the undertaker and the fancy woman, drunkard, dressmaker, preacher, policeman, the webfoot cocklewomen and the tidy wives. Young girls lie bedded soft or glide in their dreams, with rings and trousseaux, bridesmaided by glowworms down the aisles of the organplaying wood.
