Small Victories

Discuss (almost) absolutely anything here

This is the exact thread I need.

On Tuesday I went back to school for one lesson and I was rather disappointed with the reaction I got. 2 people from my politics class noticed I was back and I only saw 3 friends, and two of them were kinda....cold which wasn't very nice. But today I went back for a full day and.....

I got 2 huge hugs from my best friend.
Almost all the people from my english class I saw asked how I was and some of them even said, jokingly, that they were considering writing me a big Get Well Soon card which was really nice of them!
Ummm...my economics teacher welcomed me back publicly and also random people from my Economics class asked how I was which I wasn't expecting 'cause i'm not really friends with them.

So, that kinda made me feel a little less invisible.

last night we won best film a small inter-residence film festival: the highest form of impotence.
"o stars, isn't it from you that the lover's desire for the face
of his beloved arises? doesn't his secret insight
into her pure features come from the pure constellations?"

It's great news about Carroll, but 82 days. Ha! Our Norman Kember managed 117!

I hope only that Carroll doesn't do a Yvonne Ridley.

Another of my rather wonderful victories today is that I managed to talk to my friend Marcelle for the first time in about 5 months. It looks on the up :)

It would be a small victory for me if we had an option for psycology at my school, but it was taken from the cause, so now I have to put up with sociology.

That doesn't happen to be a forum does it?

This is rather old, but...

I'd like to be a professional actor someday, although it isn't likely to happen. On Sunday I was an extra on a pilot for a new TV series, so I'm one step closer...

The lingering taste of Caitlin's lip salve feels like a victory. She chooses me!?
