Junior Mastermind

Hiya all

Look I'm sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere (and I've really looked around for a thread) Last week on said prog there was a young lady whose specialised subject was HDM. She didn't win but 15 was very respectable. Better than my 12 anyway

Anyone catch it?

yes I did :) I wasn't counting but I got the ones she got I think. There were some difficult ones in there though that I'm currently trying to remember...

something like the name of the skraeling that Lee kills and stuff... hmm...

(a kid on there also did star wars and when he skipped one of the questions (the answer was AT AT) the presenter told him at the end it was an "at at" which gave me a slight chuckle :) )

If you want to know what makes me sad
Well it's hope, the endurance of faith
A battle that lasts a lifetime
A fight that never ends

Walking in the countryside
It seems that the winds have stopped
Tell my mother I am sorry
And I loved her

Did he even have a name? If he did, I can't remember it.

It doesn't mention a name in the book, I just had a look. The only thing it really tells you is that he had an owl daemon.

Was that the one who Lee shot and Hester got him to take his Magesterium ring? If so I don't think he did, did he?

Well, what was his name? I suppose another astrologer mentioned it.

Presumably not, considering that she has not mentioned it.

Also remember that there are only 1582 people on TRoH, and millions of fans throughout the country.

She was like 10. And she wasn't even very good. I answered all the questions correctly *feels full of self importance* and I could pronounce all the answers - something she couldn't. However, having said that; I was impressed at her knowledge of HDM at that young age.

You wonder, though, how much of it she really understood. It's one thing knowing the 31859th word and it's quite another understanding what those words mean.

So what? I would go on Junior Mastermind, but I'm too old, and I'm not clever enough for regular Mastermind.

I'd agree with hermit.
