Rik Visser, of
Dynamic Entertainment Ltd (and a
member of our forums) has today announced that his company have optioned the rights to make a film adaptation of the Philip Pullman novel The Butterfly Tattoo. Since March last year, this site had been supporting Rik in his successful bid to convince Pullman of his plans. Included in these are the notion of “an 'open source' film in which the entire Philip Pullman [fan] community can play a part.” Rik adds, “Our crew will consist of up and coming talent and we even have an award winning director tentatively attached. ” More information is to be posted on a project website shortly.
