The book, by Brian Sibley, is an excellent and comprehensive companion to the movie adaptation, with fantastic photography and illustration and good discussion of the production techniques. Definitely not just for children and quite certainly one for all His Dark Materials fans! Amongst critics, the Bookwitch gives the book high praise. Rough Guide to His Dark Materials Contest Winner

Our contest to win a copy of the Rough Guide to His Dark Materials has now closed. Many thanks for all entries we received! The judging is now complete and a winner has been chosen. Videogame Chat with Dakota; Puzzle; Contest!

The Golden Compass videogame has recently been released across all major gaming platforms. Thanks to Sega, we’ve 5 copies of the PS2 version of the game to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, email us with the answer to this question: What is Dakota Blue Richards’ favourite videogame?
