Chris Weitz to draft Subtle Knife (see update)Posted by on August 13, 2007 at 12:17 amAn article at the Iranian website Payvand says that the Iranian-born screenwriter, Hossein Amini, will no longer be penning the script for the adaptation of The Subtle Knife. Amini was commissioned to write a draft script back in January, but Payvand reports that “apparently Amini set off working on another movie, Killshot, produced by Quentine Tarantino and the task was given to another talented screenwriter: Chris Weitz.” We’ll see if we can confirm this.Update: According to New Line’s production executive, Hossein Amini is still the only writer for The Subtle Knife after all.

I wonder if there will be an online audition for roles in the movie of the subtle knife, if there is I can’t wait, I hope there is because most people won’t get to show there talent if there aren’t going to be any because most people wouldn’t fly all the way to oxford but I sure would if I got in! Well my son the first movie was a big success so hopefully the second will, now yes there is going to be a second movie, not his month in april and may. At all main theatres in oxford, cantubery and london, bimingham and all over the nation. The age we are looking for is 11-13. I can get suied for this so do not tell police or csi.
