Rachael says:

the last golden compass? well, maybe thats their way of making it seem special. i mean, it looks awesome, but that last thing is going to annoy me. But, it does fit with the plot of her changing destiny. so, not really too much of a complaint

Kyle says:

Mm, better than the one I saw while watching Desperate Housewives on Sunday. It was like “A legend is spoken about a GOLDEN COMPASS and the one girl that will RULE IT.” or something along those lines. The narrator-guy adds dramatic emphasis to the caplock’d words. It was really annoying the way they worded it, but now looking back I guess that could be the witches’ prophecy..

It’s exciting to see these on TV. :) My parents were talking during the commercials and when I saw it I was like “:O SHUT UP.”

Witch-girl says:

Yeah, they were actually talking for a short while about both the movie and the video game on the G4 Channel back a few days ago, here in Asheville…

So I guess the Magisterium and Lord Asriels Republc won’t have alethiometers in the movie..

And oh yea.. IT’S ONLY A MONTH AWAY!!! OMG!!!!1!111!1!!!!

*clears throat* I usually don’t do the whole “caps-omg-exclamation-mark-and-ones” thing.

Skye says:

Why isn’t it rated yet? As the above poster said, it’s only a month away! I hope it gets a PG-13.
I still don’t like that they’re calling it a golden compass. Hopefully one character will call it that, so people will know what they’re talking about, then they’ll call it by its proper name for the rest of the movie?

Reedie Belacqua says:

LOVE IT.
And I hope the same Skye, I don’t like that they calling the alethiometer “golden compass” either..

But I’m still so exited :D :D:D:D:D:DDDDDDDdskljdoisf

Caroline says:

I have been waiting so patiently to see some commercials on TV but I still haven’t seen any! I’m assuming with only like 1 month left to go though, there will soon be so many commercials out!

And didn’t it already get rated? I thought it was PG-13?

kyle- you’re right. I saw that trailer last night, and the images and everything were good and it made it look like a good movie, but i swear. its the same voice over script for LOTR or something like that.. its like “good and evil fight to control the golden compass”. i wanted to throw something at my tv
