King Ogunwe

King Ogunwe is one of the three high commander in Lord Asriel's military forces. He is deep-voiced and powerfuland is an African king from Lyra's world. He is the leader of the trooops that are sent to rescue Lyra from the cave where Mrs. Coulter holds her. Even though he suffers a minor head wound, he captures Mrs. Coulter and takes her back to the basalt fortress. His fate is unknown though he Lord Asriel left him in charge when he and Mrs. Coulter leave to lure Metatron into combat, and he may have taken over after Asriel fell into the Abyss with Mrs. Coulter and Metatron.
