Welcome to the His Dark Materials Wiki Encyclopedia!

This Encyclopaedia is the essential source for information on Philip Pullman's trilogy of His Dark Materials books and the universes that surrounds it. Started in November 2005 from the original BridgeToTheStars.net encyclopedia it is free to edit by anyone and has expanded to over two-thousand pages so far. All the information here relates to the original books unless otherwise stated. For those who have not read them: there are spoilers all over this encyclopaedia - including for Lyra's Oxford and Once Upon A Time In The North - so please take care.

As mentioned before, the original static encyclopedia still contains much information that has not yet been copied over - this is an easy job to start doing.
