Teukros Basilides

Teukros Basilides is Lord Asriel's alethiometer reader. His skills located the cave where Lyra is held captive. He is also able to tell Asriel that Lyra was not found by the DNA bomb. He also tells Asriel of Metatron's plan for gaining control of Will and Lyra. He is described as the "dark-eyed alethiometrist" in the Amber Spyglass (Knopf 372).
