Wren

Wren is the plump butler of Jordan College. We meet him in the Retiring Room. He and the steward, Mr. Cawson have a well-established rivalry and Wren prides himself on learning information from the Scholars before Cawson does. When he is preparing the Retiring Room for Lord Asriel's meeting, he helps himself to a handful of smokeleaf and hastily stuffs it in his pocket when he hears someone coming.
